Pins

The favorite pinning feature allows you to create shortcuts to frequently used tabs and even specific modules throughout the system.

The Favorites panel is located on the right side of the page and slides out when clicked.  This panel provides a way to centralize your most used tabs and/or modules. Any module on any tab you have access to and any tab in dashboard you have to can be pinned.  Navigating using your pinned tabs will work in the same way as your traditional tab navigation. However, if you choose to navigate to a tab located on a different dashboard, it will skip the Switch Dashboard step and automatically activate the appropriate dashboard and then navigate you to the tab.

When clicking on your pinned modules your module will appear in a pop up dialog in the center of your screen and function in exactly the same way as the original module without having to jump from tab to tab.  If you are already on the tab that contains the module you clicked no action will occur.

Pins are automatically linked to your profile and will follow you everywhere within the system.
