This release contains performance improvements when used with pasPortal and deprecates the legacy Remote Impeller 2011a service.

pasPortal Performance Improvements

pasUnity now makes significantly fewer round-trips to the database when rendering very large Matrix objects in pasPortal.  pasUnity now makes significantly fewer round-trips to the database when rendering Remote Impellers available for execution.

Remote Impeller Service 2011a Retired

Back in 2011 we added the Remote Impeller 2011a web service to the application to allow developers to invoke jobs directly from 3rd party code (such as websites and powershell scripts).  One year later we ceased development on this service and incorporated it into our Matrix web service where it has continued to undergo enhancement.  Our pasPortal infrastructure has been entirely dependent on the new Matrix service for working with remote impellers since 2012.  We originally intended to give developers a year to transition from the old service to the new.  Well, seven years later we feel that we have given more than a reasonable amount of time to transition and that service is now removed from pasUnity.
