pasPortal Hosted Applications now have a couple new features.
When you hover over any icon on a hosted applications module there will be two small icons that appear underneath the application icon.
The first icon allows you to copy a link to the clipboard so that you may paste it into tag-aware modules such as the
HTML Tree module which allows you to create buttons in your articles that directly launch the application.
The second icon allows you to save a
RemoteApp shortcut file directly to your desktop. This allows you to directly start your applications without having to navigate to the pasPortal first. Be warned though: if an application shortcut is updated or deleted on the pasPortal your link will no longer function and you will have to download a new one.
