A little while back we updated you on our action plan for mitigating the Meltdown and Spectre security vulnerabilities and noted that due to some bad micro code from Intel the BIOS patches we had installed on most of our servers needed to be updated a second time.  I am glad to announce that patching is complete (and has been for a few weeks now) and that our post-update monitoriing has shown the environment is safe and stable - as expected.
