The Test module allows users to take tests and review test results.
This module functions outside the realm of the normal permissions hierarchy. Permissions are managed by administrative users with the Test Manager module.
Administrative users can configure additional module settings by clicking the button.
•Find the Test that you are about to take in the list displayed in the module. Tests are displayed in tabular format with several options for action buttons depending on the status of the test.
•If the Test has been previously taken and passed, and is configured to allow automatic retakes, a Retake button will be displayed in the far left column.
•If the Test has been previously taken and failed, and is configured to allow automatic retakes, a Retake button will be displayed in the far left column.
•If the Test has been previously taken and failed, and is configured to only allow retakes when enabled by an administrator, please contact your test administrator to enable your Retake of the test.
•After selecting a Test, the module will be replaced by a description of the chosen Test and the configured Test Mode.
•This description will include configured options for the Test, such as time allowed, possible types of questions that you may encounter, and navigation instructions.
•Displayed at the top of the module are the Test Name, Start Time, Passing Score, a button to Cancel the test, and Time Remaining.
•Canceling the test will delete your answers and return to the main module screen.
•To return to the main module screen, click Return.
•To start your Test, click Start.
•Once completed, the module will display whether you passed or failed, the Passing Score of the test, Your Score, and the time taken to complete the test.
•If your administrator has configured the test to allow it, the Questions asked, your answers, and whether the answer was correct or not will be listed in tabular format under your score.
•If your administrator has configured the test to allow automatic retakes upon failure, a Retake button will be displayed at the bottom of the module.
•To return to your list of available tests, click on the Return button at the bottom of the module.
•To answer a Question, either type or select your answer(s) and click on the arrow button on the far right hand side of the module. This will save your answer and display the next Question in line.
•To review previous answers, click on the arrow button on the far left hand side of the module. This will display previous Questions in reverse order with your answer pre-populated.
•NOTE: Adaptive tests do not allow backwards navigation. Once a Question is answered, you cannot edit your answer.
•At any time, click Cancel Test to stop your test and return to the main screen.
NOTE: Tests are created using the Test Manager module.
