Parameter Editor

 

 

 

The Parameter Editor job step is used to add or change parameters used during execution as inherited from the job itself or overridden by the impeller that queued the job for execution.

 


This job step type extends basic job step functionality.  For details common to all job step types click here.


 

In addition to the common attributes shared by all job steps this job step type has the following attributes:

 

Parameter Overrides tab:

Parameters: The parameters collection allows the job creator to create or override the set of name/value pairs which may be accessed throughout job execution using the <PARAMETER> macro function. 

Name: The parameter name.

Value: The value of the parameter.

Parameter values set at the Job level may be overridden by parameter values set at the Impeller level.  Parameter values set at the Job or Impeller level may be overridden by parameter values set at this Parameter Editor job step level.  The values will not be retained after the job has completed.

After making changes be sure to press the Update button to save your changes.
