Delete File




The Delete File job step is used to delete a file from the file system.


This job step type extends basic job step functionality.  For details common to all job step types click here.


In addition to the common attributes shared by all job steps this job step type has the following attributes:


Delete Options tab:

File Name: The name of the file to delete from the file system.

Fail If File Does Not Exist: If checked the job step will automatically report failure if the file being deleted does not exist.  This is not a setting that will need to be frequently used.

The job will fail if the Processor Agent account does not have permission to delete the file.

After making changes be sure to press the Update button to save your changes.
