•Mapping Precedence

          If only the Global Mapping is used the mapping precedence should be set to Global.

•Global: Source Accounts will be checked first against the Global Mapping.  The remaining accounts will then be checked against the Local Mapping.

•Local: Source Accounts will be checked first against the Local Mapping.  The remaining accounts will then be checked against the Global Mapping.

•None: This option can only be used if the Global and Local Mapping sheets do not provide different destination accounts for the same source account.  Both mappings are treated as one large mapping.

•Require Indicator Mappings: When checked, indicator mappings must be present in the mapping table.

•Mapping Comparison Type: Determines how comparison of the source account in the data is made against the source account column in a mapping table. 

•Exact Match: Values in the Matching Account Code from the source are made using an exact comparison against the Source Account column in the mapping table.

•Wildcards: Values in the Matching Account Code from the source are made by evaluating wildcard expressions stored in the Source Account column in the mapping table.  See Wildcards for more information and reference the Searching Files section.  If the Source Account column in the mapping table does not contain a valid mapping expression a match will not be made and processing will halt until the wildcard expression is corrected in the mapping table.  Wildcard syntax is fairly easy to read and write but not the most powerful or flexible of mapping options.

•Regular Expressions:  Values in the Matching Account Code from the source are made by evaluating Regular Expressions stored in the Source Account column in the mapping table.  If the Source Account column in the mapping table does not contain a valid regular expression a match will not be made and processing will halt until the wildcard expression is corrected in the mapping table.  Regular Expression syntax is a bit harder to learn than the wildcard syntax and can sometimes be a bit more difficult to debug but it is extremely powerful, flexible, and performs better than the wildcards option for those that take the time to learn it.

•Ignore Case For Compare: If checked case is ignored when checking a source account from a file against the source account column in a mapping table.  For example, “telephone” is a source account in the file and “Telephone” is a source account in the mapping table.  With this box checked “telephone” would match to “Telephone”.  If this box is not checked “telephone” would need to be added to the mapping table.

•Multi-Currency Token: Indicates the code used to identify this token.  The default is MCR but can be changed as needed to avoid a conflict with source accounts.

•Offset Token: Indicates the code used to identify this token.  The default is OFF but can be changed as needed to avoid a conflict with source accounts.

•Default (Empty) Token: Indicates the code used to identify this token.  The default is DEF but can be changed as needed to avoid a conflict with source accounts.

•All (Global) Token: Indicates the code used to identify this token.  The default is ALL but can be changed as needed to avoid a conflict with source accounts.

•Do Not Transfer Token: When left blank this defaults to DNT but this can be changed as needed to avoid a conflict with destination accounts.
